Skate of Mind – Skate Workshops

Hosted by local skaters Lachlan Rankin & Isaac Schmidt at the Wynyard skate park. Join the Big hART skate team each Thursday after school from 3:30 – 5:00pm. Make new friends, discuss tips and tricks, watch demonstrations and see how skating can benefit your overall health and improve your state of mind.

Whether you’ve never skated before or already a skater looking to meet new friends. You’ll be welcomed and encouraged in an inclusive, fun, creative environment.

Sessions will also include art based workshops (videography, sound production) that contribute to the broader Skate show scheduled for June later this year.
