Join us at the Watershed with guest musician’s Sabine & Bella
Sabine is a singer-songwriter based in Hobart, with a number of projects keeping her busy and creatively active. With a love of soul and folk, her songs are moving, and musically lush. After running children’s songwriting workshops with the band Shade at A Festival Called Panama, she’s continuing up to Wynyard with the intention of shaping little one’s thoughts and musical ideas into a delightful song. But first we’ll need instruments! A crafting corner will be set up for the first half of the workshop, to build their own shakers and percussive gadgets.
Workshop Details:
Crafting Instruments –
Children will participate in crafting their own shakers and percussive gadgets. Materials and tools will be provided
Songwriting Session –
Once the instruments are ready, participants will collaborate with Sabine to transform their ideas and emotions into songs.
We will learn about melody, rhythm, and lyrics in a fun and supportive environment.
This workshop will run alongside Printmaking with Isabel Sykes – More info here
