Cultural Creative – Carving with kelp

Cultural Creative – A monthly series of workshops, facilitated by Palawa man Jye Crosswell, exploring the creative potential of kelp.  Through this series of Saturdays we will play with the materiality, art making potential and creative possibility of this seaweed.

These workshops are open to all ages and experience, and invite you to play, explore and connect.

In this session we’ll play with the materiality of bull kelp, carving in to it like lino, experimenting with print making.
