Sink into summer with our ‘en plein air’ sessions – where we get creative outdoors. Taking inspiration from the French Impressionists who got creative by getting out into the landscape, these sessions will take place along the banks of the Inglis River.
In the first session, we’re joined by musician and sound artist Rachel Meyers (Van Diemen’s Fiddles, Meyers & McNamara) who will guide us on a sound walk designed to open our ears to hear the world around us in unusual ways. After tuning in to the landscape, artist Nadia Murphy will guide participants through some landscape painting exercises, inspired by live playing by Rachel Meyers.
This is a special workshop not to be missed!
