Join us for an intimate evening of live music with Kaytlyn Johnson, a talented young Tasmanian palawa woman, supported by The Tender Engines.
Kaytlyn Johnson is an Indie singer-songwriter from Wynyard, rural North-West Tasmania. With a heavy focus on lyrics and guitar-driven melodies, her music style is persuaded between dreamy and easy Sunday tunes through to pop-punk band angst and energy.
In 2020, She was selected for a songwriting mentorship with Eurovision finalist Kate Miller-Heidke. Since then, Kaytlyn has been studying a Diploma of Music in Melbourne through the Victorian College of Arts. As a young Palawa woman, Kaytlyn has been inspired to write about her identity, her experiences and her dreams and has performed with reputable artists, such as GRAMMY award winning artist, Lucky Oceans, in partnership with BighART.
