Paper making with Darren Simpson

Darren Simpson is a master papermaker who has been honing his skills in the traditional practices of handmade paper since 1996, making high quality paper that is sought after around the world.
After a highly successful first season, Darren’s workshops continue through Spring with a series of three diverse courses exploring different methods of papermaking, integrating natural and found materials, and getting creative with 3D formations and sculpture.
Paper and the environment
3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th October
Get creative by adding seaweeds into your papers, making pulps out of natural materials, or making seed paper (that you can plant when you’re done)!
We encourage you to book in for the full course, however a limited number of drop in spots are available each week.
Full course fee $50 (this fee covers the cost of materials)
Drop in fee $15 per class
