Poetry Workshop with Moran Wiesel

What words is the earth singing to you today? This workshop explores how deep listening, playful movement, and collaborative creation can spark earth-inspired poems/stories. So come journey with Moran, as we express our weird and wonderful world together!
Moran Wiesel is a performance poet, storyteller, eco-therapist, and musician, exploring our intimate connection with the earth’s soul. They were winner of the 2022 Huon Valley Storyteller’s Cup, Australian Poetry Slam Tasmanian finalist in 2021 & 2022, and featured storyteller at the 2022 Tasmanian Storytelling Festival. Moran performs regularly in forests, caves, and community events around lutruwita/Tasmania, and facilitate earth connection experiences and wholistic counselling through their business Earth Enspiralled. While waiting for stories to emerge, Moran can mostly be found dancing with trees…
Remember to bring warm winter clothes and a raincoat or umbrella, as the workshop will be outdoors.
